Universal Model
Specifically for hyperactive and/or intellectually disabled children, Eerluck has developed a 7-point car restraint system. The car restraint system comes with a base belt that can be very easily attached around the backrest of the rear seat or the car seat itself.
The child is secured at 7 points vest, which clips onto the base belt with lockable side release buckles. If the point between the legs is not desired, it can easily be removed. The system can also be used with a booster seat without a backrest.
We provide the car seat restraint with lockable side release buckles. You can choose whether or not to lock them yourself.
Installation in a passenger car or (taxi) van?
The base belt of the car restraint system can be attached in two ways. In a passenger car, there is often space between the backrest and the seat to thread a base strap through. You choose this for 'installation only around backrest.' If this space is not available, often in taxi vans, then you choose 'installation around fixed seat.'

Legislation and safety
Regarding the transportation of children, we advise you to consult the applicable laws and regulations from the country where you live.
When using the Eerluck Car restraint system, using the standard 3-point seat belt is mandatory.
Using the Eerluck Car restraint system is at all times at your own risk.
Only lock the lockable side release buckles if it is really necessary.
We advise (especially when used by third parties) to make sure all parties involved know that a person is being transported with a Eerluck Car restraint system.
We strongly recommend keeping the supplied seat belt cutter in the car/taxi(bus).
Use in multiple cars
Do you have two cars or is the user also taken by taxi (van) to, for example, day care? Then you can choose to purchase an extra basic belt. The universal safety vest is used in both cars and the basic belt can stay on the back seats and/or car seats.
Too small to sit in the back seat?
If the child is shorter than 135 cm, they are not legally allowed to sit in the back seat. A booster seat with a backrest is necessary. For these children, we’ve added a booster seat with a car restraint system to our range. Click here for more information!
Extra strong version
If the plastic side release buckles aren't strong enough, you can choose a version with pin locks. The system is basically the same as the standard version, but the plastic side release buckles have been replaced with safety locks that have a small cover plate with a hole. The included pin can be used to open the safety locks.
Keep in mind, this system is much heavier than the version with plastic, lockable side release buckles because it uses 7 safety locks. We always recommend starting with a standard system first.
Seatbelt buckle cover
If a child in the car opens the latch of the mandatory 3-point seatbelt on their own, a dangerous situation arises.
Prevent this with the cover cap for the seatbelt insertion point. Of course, available in our webshop.
Maintenance
Our fixations can be wiped down with a lightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh cleaning products and do not wash them in the washing machine!
Make sure you use and maintain the system correctly, and you'll be able to use it for years without any problems.
